i try to be domestic from time to time. this is why brooke and i made cookies the other night.

brooke didn't have a rolling pin, so we had to use a cup.

she also didn't have a cutting board, so we had to use a plastic bag.

after a while, we just spread the dough out on the cookie sheet. it was impossible to transfer the cut-out cookies from the plastic bag to the cookie sheet, since brooke didn't have flour to make the cookies more cohesive.

making a cookie horse now eclipses every other activity.

i'm getting this one blown up poster-size to hang in my kitchen.

we weren't really sure about them.

afterwards, brooke, beth, and i went to a basketball game and then looked around at the lights on campus. as i'm now describing my day-to-day life, it feels boring. i like these people a lot, though.

oh, by the way, i'm moving to milwaukee after i graduate. i'll share an apartment with my friend owen. just thought i might mention that.

my friends and i went out to little rock last night. we had a nice meal, went to a shooting range, and rode the trolley around the city.

it was a great night, except for the drive back from little rock, when i started to realize how much i will miss arkansas and these people when i graduate.

with the proper protective gear, the ladies looked hot.

you could buy paper targets at the range, and i opted for the target that re-inforced my fear of hispanics. (it was so, so horrible.)

zach and kevin are fine fellas.

zach even slow-danced with me during a break from the 9mm.

katie and megan are obviously in their element.

i'm not sure if austin even realized i was posing with him.

zach did, though.

justin is a big, strong man. check out the suit.

beth didn't shoot. she stood there and looked pretty. really, though, doesn't she look pretty?

later, on the trolley, we started to take some prom pictures. please note that nobody in our group of friends is actually dating anybody else in our group of friends. incest is wrong.

katie and austin were really excited to be taking a picture together.

megan and justin expressed a little more enthusiasm. (maybe too much? you decide.)

kevin and beth had matching bracelets. obviously.

the fake prom pictures quickly degenerated into ridiculous modeling. i think this was our best shot. it is very, very staged.

and, of course, it's really not a night out if i don't give myself a stache.

i'm already mourning.
